|A new pizza restaurant, Pieology Pizzeria, will open its doors at the location of the historic Auburn bank, formerly the location of The Bank Vault.
Pieology Pizzeria announced its plans for the construction of its third Alabama Pieology location Friday.
The building, located at Toomer’s Corner at the intersection of College Street and Magnolia Avenue is owned by Oak Tree Corner, LLC.
“We have been looking forward to having Pieology in downtown Auburn for a long time,” said Drew Goodner of Oak Tree Corner, LLC. “Combined with the Toomer’s Corner improvements, Pieology will greatly benefit the downtown area.”
The new store will be operated by Segovia Aslan Enterprises, which has secured the franchise rights to open Pieology restaurants across the Southeastern United States.
“We are thrilled to bring the unique Pieology experience to the Auburn community and we hope to inspire our guests to express their culinary creativity and build their perfect pizza without limitations, for one simple price,” said Joshua McBride, Director of Operations for Segovia Aslan Enterprises. “This new Pieology location will truly belong to the people of Auburn and our desire is that friends and family will come to Pieology to make wonderful memories that will last for years to come.”
Currently under construction, Toomer’s Corner will soon have new crosswalks, street trees and brick walls. These improvements are designed to highlight and accentuate a part of town that has been the heart of Auburn for well over a century.
Construction of the new Pieology will be completed by Prairie Contractors.
