I’ve been reading a variety of blog posts recently discussing why ActiveRain members keep coming back for more!! It makes me smile to read many of the comments. I thought I’d share my thoughts on this topic.
My reasons for logging in to this site every day are similar to everyone else’s, but the one element that always surfaces within me when I start scanning and reading might be quite different from others’. The one component most important to me is that it energizes me.
To be energized at the beginning of my day results in a “rash of work” being pumped out by me. The outcome from consecutive days of logging in to ActiveRain and touching the psyche of other real estate agents is uplifting.
The inspiration that finds its way to my mind and stimulates creative thoughts within me is a feeling that is non-existent on other platforms. To be inspired to think outside the box and create new methods of marketing stems from my relationships with everyone I follow and those who follow me. I read their comments, and I’m able to fine-tune what I do for marketing.
There are many advantages of sharing what we do for marketing. To share is to leave yourself exposed to critiquing by peers and the ability to improve what we already thought was nearly perfect!! I make money by sharing what I do; I make money by reading every comment; I make money by continuing to stay open-minded and not defensive when critiqued.
I make money by logging into ActiveRain every day and sharing what I do for a living with the 1,265 members who subscribe to my blog. For that, and to them, I’ll be forever grateful.
