Judi & her "surprise" guest...Tom Plant

Thank you Ms. Judi for all your hard work and planning and encouraging everyone to attend. You are a super bread pudding and pecan pie maker. Love that whiskey sauce you made to top off the non-fat bread pudding.

We want Tom to move to our Great State of Texas

What a nice couple.  Trey & Kris Thurmond. If you ever wanted a true friend he's your man.

Edward Lui - What a nice young and hard working gentlemen. Keep your eye on Edward he's going places.

Now for his family, well Ceil fell in love immediately with the three month old and could hardly believe when his young son stood and introduced himself to the group. "Ceil said, precious family."

Edward

Alan

Jason

Three of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. That goes for their spouse as well.

Jason & Tom Plant are friends; this is why Tom made this "surprise" trip to attend the AR Gathering in Bandera. It was a true surprise for Jason. This was the first face to face meeting between Tom and Jason but I have a feeling it won't be the last.

Jason & Jem: Such friends, had to take pictures of each other.

Hey Judi - I just now finished, had to keep going back to make some changes, does it look OK? Yes, I did get a pecan pie but it was from Randall's and Ceil got a strawberry pie. We'll just have to get you to make us another sometime.

Hope things are going well for you. Tell Tom hi for us.

Ceil said to tell you she sent you and email; somethng she saw on the internet a home posted right up the street from us. Didn't know too much about it but thought maybe you could check it out.

Carl, it looks great!  I was wondering when you would get yours posted.  I have my drafted but haven't had a chance to get the pictures from camera to computer.  Tom & I are still site-seeing and taking lots of pictures.  He's going back to CA tomorrow -- we sure will be our wonderful house guest!!!

Judi - I had a pretty full day. I got Ceil to load the pictures into her computer when I got home this evening so that I could work on my report. So, all I had to do was upload and between the two of us wrote our memory album. We haven't figured out how to do the new pretty thingy yet. We put in the information but must have missed a step because it never came up after we wrote the blog.

Carl, I've seen some great backgrounds as I've visited other posts the past few days.  It takes a little time and thought -- gotta know what you want for a background.  I'll "play" with it again and then if you need help, I can help you with it.  I did my Fiesta Colors really fast -- Dale did a great job on his.

Carl - Great job with your post of Saturday's events.  I enjoyed getting a chance to meet you and Ceil both.  I actually had lunch with Tom and Judi today, and apparently Tom will be in Austin in August!  Have a great week, my new friend.

Thanks Jason for stopping by and for your nice comment. We really have some good friendships developing within our Texas groups. The ladies did an excellent job to pull it all together for us; all we had to do was show up.

I think they have some more fun things planned. If this keeps up I'll never get caught up with My Honey Do List.

    Have a great week.

Hi Carl, what a nice job you did, and I love your title.  Yes indeed I have some great memoriesand pictures.  So far I think I'm the most compulsive...no surprise huh?  I took 161!  Many I have to resize before I can post them.  One is of Ceil (BWP) holding Edward's baby and I caught her without her knowing I was taking th shoot, which are the best ones, and she has such a loving expression on her face.  I just fell in love with your wife, now know as BWP.  I'll try to get our Tex & Miss Molly post on in the next couple of days.  I see why Ms. Judi feel for you...you look a lot like her husband :) :).  What I thought was so great was everyone was just as they sound, and how they write, "True Colors", this great TX group!Boot Hill grave markder2 ladiescouple

Good morning Liz -  Thank you for stopping by to take a look  at the AR Memory Album from the Bash over at Bandera. It truly was amazing how strangers can come togeter to create so much good. Thank you for adding some of your pictures since we didn't get many. My fault, I didn't help Ceil with the picture taking.

Again, I noticed the time, you were up running the internet again last night while I was sleeping.

Have a good day and thanks from me for all those nice things you said about Ceil; she has a big heart and loves people.

Thanks Ricki - Been waiting for you to stop by: I came across this picture of Don, he was sure in a hurry to get going after all that picture taking. People were taking pictures of each other like crazy. If anyone was watching they probably thought those people are crazy taking pictures of each other.

Now here's Don that we saw working so hard washing dishes and cleaning up after the Bandera Bash.

Hello Yolanda - So glad you stopped by. I hope you will take a look at some of the other posts while your over this way. I was thinking of all the nice people I had met on AR and I thought about you and how much help you were to me. All the pretty baskets you make for your clients. We really had some fun talking back and to each other when you and Judi were doing that thingy thing with baskets. Judi now has several other titles. If she get many more we don't be able to keep up with her.

Hope things are going well and keep in touch.
