Scheduled Downtime Tonight at 8PM Pacific (11PM Eastern)

Hello Rainers,

Tonight, ActiveRain will be moving away from the activerain.trulia.com subdomain to live independently on activerain.com.  This is part of last week's announcement that Ben Kinney has entered an agreement to purchase ActiveRain that will be completed on June 30, 2015.

The site will shut down starting at 8PM Pacific time on Monday, June 22nd.  It will remain down for a period of 2-3 hours while we make a number of transitions to move ActiveRain back to the original domain.

All of your existing links to activerain.trulia.com will automatically be redirected to the new site.  You don't need to do anything as part of this transition.

Please be sure to save any work before the site shuts down for the evening.

It's an interested change - and I'll miss you guys being my coworkers under the Zillow umbrella, but I am excited to see AR succeed with a more agent-driven business model, hopefully getting back to the core of where it really mattered: the members. :)

I'm usually the first to grumble with downtimes because the 11pm-midnight hour is when I'll be on ActiveRain 90% of the time I'm on.

But for some downtimes, I sit still and be quiet. 

Let's hope it's a smooth tweak and we're up & fresh shortly thereafter.

Evelyn Johnston  I am no longer an ActiveRain staff member, but I'm not going anywhere. I'll still be active here on the 'Rain! 

I transferred to Zillow's corporate office a little over a month ago because a wonderful new opportunity arose for me. My new position is to help pioneer a brand new product and department in the Mortgages division of Zillow as an Account Manager. So far, I love it, but I do miss all of you a lot!
