 The Town of Parker is Southeast of Denver approximately 30 miles with a population just over 47,000 (2012).    The City of  Parker is a quaint town that is commonly called a bedroom community.    It has the small town feel, yet has lots to offer.   You will find many locally owned businesses and restaurants.    

Buyers looking for Homes for Sale in Parker will find sales in May 2015 saw a another huge increase in  sales from April.    Last year looking at detached family home sales only, there were 188 sold in May 2014, sales are up from one year ago.  Listing inventory increased over the month of April.   Let's look at the sale data from the month of May 2015 for sales of detached single family homes that were recorded for the Town of Parker -

With the spring buying season upon us, we are seeing a strong Seller's market due to very low inventory.  We are still seeing many homes going on the market and receiving multiple offers in the first few days.    We still need listings!   The distressed market (short sales & bank owned property) is very minimal.  A total of three short sales were sold in May and two bank owned properties. 

What buyers need to know in this current market, there is still a low inventory of homes to choose from, and often you will see multiple offers in the first couple of days.

 As of today you will find 293 active homes for sale in Parker (ranging from $241,300 to $18,370,000).    There are 328 currently under contract (ranging from $210,000 to $2,500,000).
