5 Best Places In Tucson To Get A "Chill On".

Here it is - 4am in Tucson - and it only cooled down to 81 degrees (the clock in my car has the wrong time!) - that said, all most Tucson folks can think of is cool drinks, ice cream - and water - getting in a big pool of it kind of water - because by 9am it will be 100 degrees!

Here are the top 5 places in Tucson to cool off and have a little fun while you are at it:

Tops on my list is Starr Pass Resort - complete with a lazy river, pool slides, "dancing water" splash pad and a 175 foot drop slide - it sure is a great way to get a chill on. The resort is located west of Tucson - and also has a spa, golf and phenomenal views!

El Conquistador in way NW Tucson - it is a great resort for weekend getaways - but it also has three pools, a children's pool and a 143 foot water slide - for the really young kids there is a fish shape pool with interactive water games.

Westin La Paloma - again a wonderful Tucson resort in the Foothills - with 5 pools to pick from - including one with a swim up bar and grill; and a 177 foot water slide.  The great part about this place is - you can rent a poolside cabana complete with a TV. ceiling fans, refrigerator and lounge chairs.

Now, for the longest water slide drop in Tucson ... drum roll ... the winner is The Ritz Carlton at Dove Mountain with it's 235 foot slide (but you have to be 42 inches are taller to be on it!). Next to that - it makes the other three pools on the property less appealing - but still, the pools are great - one even has a splash pad for the younger kids!

Resorts not your thing?  Then the there is always Breakers Water Park located just outside Tucson in Marana - this is lots of fun for kids and adults - has a pipeline for surf, riptides, wave pools, splash areas, water slides of course and more!

Sounds like Heaven to me Gabrielle Kamahele Rhind . All my life I've dreamed of living somewhere that the mercury never gets below 75 degrees.

HI BOB!  Well, I know a great Realtor here in Tucson who can help find you a dream home! :)  - it's actually not too bad - it's only a few months out of the year so tolerable.  Nothing like searching for your car under 10 feet of snow would be!
