July 4, 2015 Freedom Over Texas Patriotic Celebration
The City of Houston presents its annual very special patriotic celebration Freedom Over Texas on July 4, 2015. The celebration is being held at Eleanor Tinsley Park which is along Allen Parkway and just outside downtown Houston. The event starts at 4 PM and lasts until 10 PM. One of primary sponsors this year is Southwest Airlines. This is the twenty-ninth Fourth of July Celebration hosted by the City of Houston.
There will be entertainment and lots of cool fireworks. The headliner performers are Houston son and songwriter Mr.Clint Black and double-platinum selling singer and songwriter Mr. Josh Turner. The evening will be completed by a massive fireworks display sponsored by Citgo.
This years activities include but not limited to an All American Kids Zone sponsored by Walmart; A children’s entertainment area with stage; Bud Light Lime-A-Rita Beach bash; All American beer garden; Dr. Pepper One of a Kind Zone; houston sports teams will be present with set-ups; lots of food, Music and a special salute to 5 branches of the American Military.
Ticket prices are $8.00 per adult online until July 3, 2015 and $10.00 online and at gate on July 4. Children 5 years old and younger are free with a paid adult ticket.
