Verrado--It's a Way of Life
Verrado is located just 25 miles west of Downtown Phoenix, nestled into the White Tank Mountains. Verrado offers a change from the normal cookie cutter subdivisions by offering a variety of home styles and architecture, tree lined streets and over 70 parks. In addition Verrado offers its residents tons of amenities as well as community events and concerts. You can do nothing but appreciate Verrado, not only it's uniqueness but it’s hometown feel, amenities, and the blending of the natural desert with green spaces.
Diverse Verrado is built around its Main Street District which includes dining and shopping. Founders Park at the east end of Main Street is the site of many events and concerts, or residents enjoying the beautiful Arizona weather. The iconic clock tower marks the spot for the Center on Main. One of two community pool facilities that residents have access to, the Center on Main has a fitness facility and two outdoor pools—one for swimming laps and the other for relaxing and cooling off. These pools are heated during the winter. The Center on Main is also home of a clubhouse that offers activities, clubs and classes.
The second community pool facility is Heritage Swim Park & Grand Lawn. The Heritage Swim Park opened in 2015 and it includes a big resort-style pool, a wading pool with beach entry and splash pad, a pool house with changing rooms and lockers, a fire pit for relaxing in the evening, bbq grills, birthday Ramada, and the Great Lawn, an open park space. The pools at the Heritage Swim Park are always perfect since the are heating during our colder months and cooled during our hot summer months.
There’s so much to do in Verrado. In addition to the swim parks and fitness facility, the community has a beautiful 8-hole championship golf course tucked into the White Tank Mountains offering amazing views of the valley. The Verrado Golf Club also has a driving range for practicing, a restaurant, and bar and grill. There’s also a dog park in Verrado for our furry friends to enjoy. Enjoying the outdoors is definitely a theme in Verrado and residents can enjoy approximately 21 miles of biking and walking paths and also hiking trails.
Verrado is rapidly expanding with new homes being built as well as a new active adult section called Victory at Verrado. This 55+ community is designed just for Boomers. With 4 builders this section is really taking off. The Victory Club has resort-style pools terraced into the foothills. In addition, the Club has a spa, restaurant, tennis courts, fitness center, yoga lawn, pickleball park and more.
