Operation Kindness is having a 12- Hour Adopt-a-thon, Saturday, June 27, 2015. Three hundred animals will be available for adoption. Animal lovers have an opportunity to make a difference in the life of a dog or cat for the reduced adoption fee of $99. Adoptable pets are current on thier vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and microchipped
Operation Kindness, a non-profit no-kill animal shelter, has been caring for homeless dogs and cats for over 37 years. The moment you walk through the the front door of Operation Kindness, you are greeted, by wagging tails, smiling faces, and a feeling of love and kindness. Dedicated volunteers are seen playing with the animals indoors and outside the shelter.
Operation Kindness is maintained by an outpouring of love from people who are passionate about the welfare of dogs and cats. The shelter depends totally on individual donations and its creative fund-raising efforts.
Refreshements will be available throughout the day with coofee and donuts available in the morning, Canes Chicken from 11:30-1:00, and a Food Truck selection from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
