17th Annual Leukemia Cup Regatta at Houston Yacht Club

We are in the 17th year of the Leukemia Cup Regatta in the Houston Area; this event is not only held locally but nationwide. These events are sailing events that raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Gary Jobson is the national chairman an America’s Cup winner and a lymphoma survivor himself.  These events over the years have raised over $38 million dollars.

 

The Houston Yacht Club has raised over 2 million dollars since 1993! There will be a spectator boat today for only $30 dollars includes lunch and soft drinks.  There will be also a silent auction and dinner tonight! Hi Yolanda Cordova-Gilbert ,  What a great cause.  I enjoy sailboat events, with the different colored sails, kind of like what you see with hot air ballons, all the designs and colors.
