1. Independence Eve Celebration
The celebration at Denver's Civic Center Park on Friday, July 3, 2015, includes a free concert by Funkiphino and the 101st Army Concert Band. The music begins at 8 p.m., and fireworks are scheduled after the concert ends. The Independence Eve Celebration is presented by the nonprofit Civic Center Conservancy, which also produces Civic Center Eats.
2. Colorado Rapids Game
The Colorado Rapids will face off against the Vancouver Whitecaps in a Fourth of July game scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2015. Fireworks will go off after the game at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo.
3. The Outlaws Game
Denver's professional lacrosse team the Denver Outlaws are battling it out with the Boston Cannons on July 4th. After the game, enjoy fireworks with the bowl at Sports Authority Field at Mile High - pyrotechnics paired with visuals on a 220-foot wide hi-definition screen. You'll never forget this kind of fireworks show!
4. Elitch Gardens Theme Park
The Elitch Gardens Theme Park in downtown Denver is open on Fourth of July for family fun. The theme park shows fireworks on a nightly basis, which includes an Independence Day display on Saturday, July 4, 2015.
5. Glendale Fireworks
The city of Glendale, Colo., will hold its fireworks display on Thursday, July 2, 2015. View the fireworks from the CitySet shopping center at South Colorado Blvd and Cherry Creek Drive South, or at the Whole Foods located at 870 S. Colorado Blvd.
6. Littleton Family Festival
The Fourth of July Family Festival and Fireworks Show in Littleton, Colo., celebrates its 20th year of entertaining residents. The city will hold free activities for children and families at Belleview, Progress and Cornerstone Park starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2015. The night will be capped off by a fireworks display at Cornerstone Park at around 9:30 p.m.
7. Arvada Community Celebration
Arvada, Colo., will present its Fourth of July Celebration at the Lutz/Stenger Sports Complex located at West 58th Avenue and Oak Street. The free event begins at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2015, and features face painting and bouncy houses for children, as well as a fireworks display.
8. Broomfield's Great American Picnic
The city of Broomfield, Colo., will hold a Great American Picnic on Saturday, July 4, 2015, at the Broomfield County Commons starting at 5 p.m. The picnic includes pony rides for $3 and a free petting zoo. The fireworks display will go off at approximately 9:15 p.m.
9. Brighton Fourth of July Celebration
The city of Brighton, Colo., is celebrating its 128th birthday with a Fourth of July celebration at Carmichael Park. The celebration begins at 2 p.m. onSaturday, July 4, 2015, and concludes with a fireworks display. Live music and food vendors will also be part of the celebration.
10. Thornton's Fourth of July Celebration
The city of Thornton, Colo., will host a Fourth of July celebration at theCarpenter Park Fields, located at Colorado Blvd. and 108th Ave., on Saturday, July 4, 2015. Food vendors and a beer garden open at 4 p.m. The Kory Brunson Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. and parachute jumpers will land at 9:30 p.m. The fireworks display will follow the parachute jumpers.

First Friday Art Walk

Visit with Denver's vibrant creative community at The Mile High City's art districts for the 4th, including Art District On Santa Fe, RiNo (River North Art District) and the Tennyson Street Cultural District. Galleries stay open late as art lovers enjoy live music, food and drink, and of course, plenty of great art.
Zac Brown Band Jekyll + Hyde 2015 Tour

WHERE: Coors Field
Three-time GRAMMY winners and multi-platinum artists Zac Brown Band have become one of music's most heralded acts and will be in The Mile High City this summer. The Zac Brown Band will continue their national JEKYLL + HYDE tour with a July 3rd concert at Coors Field.
Cherry Creek Arts Festival

Celebrate Independence Day Weekend at Red Rocks! July 3 sees the improvisatory genius ofUmphrey's McGee arrive at this one-of-a-kind venue. Blues Traveler, along with Guster andHanson, will return to Red Rocks on July 4 for their 21st year at the historic venue. On July 5, things get loud with the the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, which features Slayer as headliner, plus five more heavy metal bands. July 6 brings rockers Steely Dan with special guestElvis Costello & The Imposters.
Park Hill 4th of July Parade

The Park Hill 4th of July Parade is back! This community-friendly event will again be marching along 23rd Avenue on Independence Day. This year's parade promises to be bigger than ever before, with marching bands, acrobats and festive floats.
Liberty Run 4 Mile Run and Firecracker Kids Fun Run
WHEN: July 4, 2015
WHERE: Washington Park, bordered by Virginia Ave. on the north, Downing St. on the west, Louisiana Ave. on the south, and Franklin St. on the east
COST: Adult registration is $35, kids are free
Work off all the BBQ and cake by running in the Liberty 4-Mile Run. Wear your red, white and blue proud and enjoy the celebration. Prizes will be given to kids and adults with the best patriotic flair. After the run enjoy food and beverages.
City Park Jazz

WHERE: City Park Bandstand, 17th Ave. and Colorado Blvd.

There’s no better way to end the long weekend than with a free concert in City Park. City Park Jazz takes place every Sunday evening in June and July.
