Feng Shui Office Tip: Rough Edges On Your Folders Need To Go
Feng Shui is based on the lifestyle of respecting people, environments and even objects. Objects are are an interesting discussion because in Feng Shui they represent certain thoughts, actions and words that have been manifested into a physical form.
I am working with a client who’s intention is to call in more business. I asked him to please be specific. He continued and said, I want my business to have returning and brand new clients, I need to make more money. I reminded him, if the focus is the bottom line, it may take him longer to achieving his goals. This may sound strange, yet this mindset carries a lot of weight to any form when in the process of manifesting.
Observing his office space, we left no stone unturned. This included the organizational system of his file cabinet, to the look of his folders. I asked him what was he fearful of? He responded, many of his current clients have not been feeling well, or seemed pre-occupied with other things in life and have allowed his need of service to fall to the waist side.
Taking a look at his filing cabinet and folders, which had rough beat up edges and an unsupportive organizational system, it was interesting to observe his fearful description aligned with his file cabinet and folder presentation. Sub-consciously he was displaying an unhealthy support system that held the energy of his clients through the office environment. Essentially, he was not honoring the energy of those who are currently working with him. His file cabinet was filled to the max, which in Feng Shui relates to not allowing room for new clients, ideas, and opportunities. Not only this, the file cabinet was in the wealth sector of his office. So there was a lot happening in this one life section on the Ba-gua map.
His remedy? To share a few….
- Create a better and efficient filing system. This creates an energy flow that makes it easier for you to locate current clients and hold the energy for new clients to find you.
- Making room in the file cabinet is opening up space for new clients to step, allow a clean cycle of fluid momentum to expand your business.
- He could even include different colored labels or folder colors, such as with some green or purple to honor wealth energy through accent colors.
- Understand the value and purpose of your service. Is it only to make money for yourself? Or are you truly engaging in this perfection because you are passionate and providing a service to help others. Ultimately, we are all serving or in other words helping each other in some form or another.
