4th of July Events and Activities for Palm Desert and Palm Springs 2015
There's still time to schedule out you were weekend for this Independence Day, 2015 around Palm Springs and Palm Desert California. Here's what's happening this weekend.
- On Saturday, July 4 from 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM is the city of Palm Desert Independence Day Celebration. No need to buy all those expensive fireworks to simply let your own money burn up. Enjoy Palm Desert's annual celebration of America on Saturday kicking off at 7:30 PM with a concert by Swing Cats Big Band with a variety of swing and big band favorites. And 9:00 PM, there will be a 20 minute long firework display, so bring your blankets, picnic dinners and lawn chairs to enjoy the show. There will be drinks and snacks available for purchase at the park but you are more than welcome to bring your own food and beverage.
- Also on July 4, the city of Palm Springs will take on the San Francisco Seals at 6:05pm followed by the patriotic fireworks it 9:30 PM. Enjoy the Palm Springs Power Baseball Team as they celebrate the Fourth of July.
Looking for something to do on Friday? How about the Dive-in Movies Wet N’ Wild, free movies with park admission. Come early, stay the day and enjoy your favorite film while you relax in the pool. On July 3 they will be showing Maleficent.
At the Spotlight 29 Casino on July 3, from 8:00 PM until 10:00 PM enjoy the Family Stone as they entertain the audience with funky music from the 1960s through the 1980s. This is happening in Coachella California.
