Grove City Independence Day Celebration

 

The community Grove City fireworks show will be Saturday, July 4th, 2015 from Grove City High School, 4665 Hoover Road.starts at approximately 9:50 p.m. A simulcast soundtrack will air on radio station Classic Country K107.1 FM.

 

Free live entertainment begins at 6 p.m. until fireworks fill the sky.

 

Bone-A-Fide Swing wil perform from 6 to 8 p.m. followed by the Grove City Community Winds as they play patriotic favorites.

 

Seating is available in the stadium bleachers and soccer field only.

Free parking is available at Grove City High School, Grove City Church of the Nazarene and Windsor Park.

Parking is also available at Murfin Field for a fee to support the Grove City Kids Association. 

Parking is restricted to one side of the street in the following neighborhoods: Briarwood, Hoover Crossing, Martha's Woods and Clark Drive from 5:30 to 11:45 p.m.

Due to the neighborhood setting, the maximum altitude of the fireworks this year is approximately 400 feet, compared to 800 feet of past shows.

All carry-in items are subject to search by security. Blankets, lawn chairs and most other personal items are permitted. The following are prohibited: grills, alcohol, weapons, personal fireworks including sparklers, pop-up tents and canopies, and pets other than service dogs. Coolers are not permitted in the stadium. Food and beverages are available for purchase.

 

Tailgating, flatbed trailers and recreational vehicles are prohibited.
