Sometimes A Name Just Doesn't Fit!

I was going to make this a rant but after watching some You tube videos I'm not as sure as I was about this company being the dendrolatry Satan I suspected it to be. I'm talking about a large multi-state firm called Wright Tree Service. I wish to avoid being as sophmoric as calling them Wrong Tree Service or Wright Tree disService but I can't help it when I think of the total distruction they weilded on my street and many others in Minot ND.

We once had a beautiful tree lined street like the one pictured below.

Tree lined street

Then they turned it into this...

split

and then they came back and left nothing at all!

Granted, we have power lines. However I sure would rather look at trees, even the butched ones above, then nothing at all. Also I think something would be better than nothing for health reasons as far as EMF's go.

As far as my referance to You Tube above I actually found more people saying good things about Wright Tree Service than bad so either we just have some bad apples here or Wright Tree Service has employees that are paid to overcome bad reviews like mine by putting up fake testimonials one after another every day.

You decide.

I love trees to Karen Winters and I was awful angry when these guys insisted my trees had to come down.

Thanks for checking it out Ed Macias it was input error on my part but it's fixed now.

They are paid by Excell Energy Joni Staples and I guess their idea of beauty is nothing but power poles and electrical lines.

I have similar cuttings around here, but not as bad as that. That is just terrible!

Bob - I will simply say that it is an odd way to cut trees.  Sorry that your trees have been butchered.

Bob

We had this also happen in Boca Raton Florida as well . . . . It killed the street scape.  You have to look at the work order that was given to the tree company to see what their scope work was.

Good luck and success.

No kidding. That is definitely wrong and they should be fined. Even I know you don't trim a tree like that.

They certainly butchered those trees, and it didn't need to be done so badly!

It's likely they were NOT the decision makers.  Perhaps some type of shrub that will not grow as tall as the lines can go in place of the trees to add some beautiful greenery back to the street. That first photo ... it was just beautiful then.

You would hope so Sonja Patterson but they have been doing this for years so again I have to assume that neither Wright or Xcell care.

Thanks Grant Schneider butchered was a couple of years ago, completely cut down is more recent.

Great idea Lou Ludwig I never would have thought of that at the time. You would think someone at Wright  would have enough brains to figure out that if they just trimmed the trees they would have perpetual work instead of cutting them to the ground they put themselves out of future business.

Debbie Reynolds I never checked into action against them but I should have. I made it clear that they did NOT have my permission to cut the trees down.

I agree Evelyn Johnston and I just don't know how they justify it in any manor.

Tammy Lankford you may be correct but the same crew that totally removed most (not all) the trees on my street also cut the deep V into the trees in our alley and also elected to leave some trees totally alone. It just doesn't make sense. For $50.00 the City Forestry Dept will come and put one of those trees that look like a purple Q-tip on your boulevard after Wright has massacred your big beautiful tree.

Hi Bob "RealMan" Timm ,  I on't know what to say, other than, the before pictures look like a neighborhood on one of those old TV shows we used to watch.  The after pictures make you want to find anther neighborhood to live in.

Bob "RealMan" Timm - what's there in a name? Wright is Wrong or Service is DisService if they do so - and people would know about it anyways.

The problem in this case Praful Thakkar is the customer of Wright Tree Service is the BIG power company Xcel Energy and not the homeowner that owns the tree. Xcel doesn't care if Wright massacres the tree in your yard and leaves it looking like poop. Wright doesn't care because no one holds them accountable and they make millions of dollars on the contract. There is no accountability.

Larry Johnston I didn't actual include the final picture which is NO trees. We do have a lot of mushrooms now where the trees were from the decaying roots.

Roy Kelley I think when you have a 3rd party situation it can easily get out of control.
