We love the 4th of July.. and spend our family time on the beach.
As homeowners of a cottage on Emerald Isle NC , we tend to see many of our neighbors and friends this time of year down on the beach ..soaking up the sun as the salty breeze and sounds of crashing waves lull us to relaxation.
Our kids have grown up around the ocean in the summertime.. From army men , barbies, buckets and shovel, to tag football and surfboards.
Now they are grown adults we still gather to enjoy a few cold beverages and a few rounds of cornhole or bocce on the beach. They bring friends and we invite our friends...folks just stop by when they are able to visit. We enjoy the laid back and casual atmosphere Emerald Isle offers as well as the sense of community on the island. Our summers at the coast are memories we enjoy building upon year after year..
