Yesterday I wrote about how quickly a day changes, and the need to be flexible.
After reading the 150 pages of disclosures yesterday morning, I then managed to track down HOA documents for the townhouse complex - hundreds of more pages needed an initial read through. Emails flew back and forth between me, my buyers, and their lender.
Then the pause came - buyers needed to sit down together in the evening and decide if and how they'd proceed.
That pause came at a great time - I accompanied my husband to his 3-month post surgery medical appointment (he's doing great !) and had time to enjoy my exercise on the hour walk home, stopping at a market along the way to pick up a piece of my latest cheese discovery--yum!
Our granddaughter joined us for a simple supper and we had a delightful, productive evening reviewing plans and sharing ideas - she is great company.
Around 10:00 PM the word came - my buyers felt there was too much deferred maintenance and major repair items, most than they wished to tackle - no offer would be submitted.
So--more change, and that's OK
Today I'm heading off shortly for my 1-day overnight quarterly review and planning session. I now have the time I need and want without the distraction of structuring an offer, getting signatures on many of those 150+ pages, writing a cover letter, etc.
I'll check in tomorrow and let you know how the planning is going.
