There is hardly any greater a tradition than watching fireworks on the Fourth of July. Adults and children of all ages love watching in anticipation of what the next size, shape, and color each new explosion will bring. Some like the resounding "Boom" of the larger fireworks with the exception of some dogs and babies. Whatever your reason is for loving fireworks on the Fourth of July, you will have two great options this year here in Gilbert, Arizona.
1. Fire in the Sky

Central Christian Church
965 E. Germann Rd. Gilbert, Arizona 85297
Activities:
There will be food vendors selling hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, watermelon, cotton candy, snow cones, water and fresh squeezed lemonade. Live music, free beach balls and other fun give-a-ways along with Glow-in-the-dark necklaces will also be a part of the festivities. You are welcome to start arriving at 5:30pm for the event. Also, you are invited to donate canned goods to the United Food Bank at one of the collection bins that will be there.
2. Gilbert youth Soccer Complex

You can expect lots of fun water activities for the kids including 4 water slide inflatables to keep them cool. Food vendors will also be there to serve up traditional Fourth of July hot dogs and snow cones!
This time of year always comes with the possible threat of a monsoon storm that could blow in to the valley putting a damper on the celebrations. Weather permitting, fireworks at both locations should start around 9:00pm. If you can't make it to one of the above locations, additional viewer parking will be at Campo Verde High School located at 3870 S. Quartz St. Gilbert, Arizona 85297.
