Don’t Be Complacent . . . . Just Do It

“A man who is contented with what

he has done, will never become

famous for what he will do .”

Fred Estabrook, Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Don’t be complacent . . . . Just do it

Just do what you have to do . . . .  do it now . . . . and do it with excellence.

You can’t rely on what you’ve done yesterday . . . .  Today is a new day and yesterday is history. What has to be done today . . . . has to be done today.

What you’re going to do . . . . won’t fuel your success journey . . . . and has very little lasting value. You have to take action to make what has to be done today a priority . . . . and just do it now.

What you do today . . . . and your results is what counts . . . . not what you’re going to do.

Don’t sit on yesterday’s results . . . . Blaze a new path . . . .  get out of the box to make today a productive day that contributes to your long term success.

Don’t be complacent . . . . Just do it. Do what you have to do . . . . Do it now . . . . and do it with excellence. Focus forward look to the horizon . . . . and to what’s in front of you . . . . And just do it.

Lou that quote is 1000% accurate. I know many many who fall into this and that "comfort zone" mentality is a guarantee for no real success

Hi @Lou,  I remember as a young student, I learned that what you did yeasterday that was awesome, doesn't necessarily help you tomorrow.

Lou loved this comment from you:

Great advice, Lou!!  The best way to manage your time, is to DO what is productive to achieve your goals.  Each day, do something better than the day before!!

I recently came across an item which referenced how men and women speak differently.  Women are much more differential and use the word "just" much more often.

Consider "Please sign this" as compared to "Please just sign this".  I've thought about that a few times now, and specifically with regards to the Nike slogan.

It applies here too..... I should not be complacent and 'just do it'.  Rather, I should smother, destroy and kill my complacency and then "do it".

Sometimes, the more aggressive approach is one way to prevent dangerous actions from becoming dangerous habits.
