Ashishishe
Thanks for stopping by and taking time out of your day to read my post. My intent is to put a smile on your face. Hopefully you’ll go away with some information you may have forgotten about or did not know. Now sit back and enjoy the post for the day.
Ashishishe AKA (also known as) Curly was born around 1856. He was a Crow scout for the U.S. Calvary. So no big deal right? Well let’s don’t jump to conclusions as I tell you the rest of the story. He was involved in a memorable battle during his time with the Calvary. Know by the Lakota Tribe as the “Battle of the Greasy Grass”. While I have done some research I have found no proof of the number of survivors of this battle. Curly died in 1923 and the memories and accounts of that battle died with him. Accounts of that battle are varied and some say he actively participated and some say he just observed the battle take place. So my question for today is what is the other name for that battle he was involved in? Why it is best known as the “Battle of the Little Big Horn” or “Custer’s Last Stand”.
