In this day and age, spending time exploring the vast Internet is not only a necessity but a hobby too! Sometimes I find entertaining websites, intriguing articles, and hilarious videos; so I thought I'd make a hodgepodge list of random things around the Internet. Circular - This game is addicting and perfect to quell your inner perfectionist! Using your mouse, you simply draw a circle & click Anaylze to see how close your drawing is to a perfect circle. As you can see in the picture, I'm not very good at it yet!
"Cooper Loves Ice Cream" - Such a funny, cute video! Skip to :25, and watch until the very end for a hilarious surprise from the cute golden retreiver. I could see my mini daushund doing this!
The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows - Ever felt an emotion that had no name? The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows takes those univeral feelings and gives them a name and a description, sometimes using them as inspiration for gorgeous videos on their Youtube channel and inspirational quotes on their blog. Putting these feelings into words aims to help connect people and find similarities between humans. One of my favorites is sonder ("the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own").
Do Nothing for 2 Minutes - This site is great for all of us with hectic workdays and seemingly no time to relax. Take 2 minutes (that's it!) and just breathe. On this website, it counts down while playing calming ocean sounds and asks you to refrain from moving the mouse or typing. If you do, it will start the 2 minutes over again. At the end, you will feel more calm and focused!
Steven Tyler's New Music Video - Everyone's favorite quirky rock singer tries his hand at...country?! He is working on his new album with his band Loving Mary that will feature the laid-back, rock-country fusion similar to what we hear in the video for his single "Love is Your Name". I can't wait to hear more of this!
