Oh my, what can I say other than this place is absolutely FABULOUS! I had the lunch special, Chicken Curry, with good friend & coworker Jill Bell... She’s raved about this place for a long time suggesting we stop here. So after an appointment nearby the other day, we did.

I'm so glad. I love Indian food. I drive by here all the time and though curious, I never stopped. Probably because I prefer not to eat out alone. But now that I know what I was missing, I look forward to working my way through their menu!

Awesome chicken curry in Kent, Washington at Curry & Kabab.

Curry & Kabab is a local family owned restaurant and places like these are ‘soul of the neighborhood’  businesses. I really enjoyed my meal, it was perfectly prepared, and a feist for the eyes too.

Note to self: Spice levels may need to be translated. Medium hot here would be a fire starter for some of my friends.

The dining area is empty in the photo but that won’t last but a few minutes. We were first to arrive and just ahead of the lunch crowd. The service here is friendly and attentive.

Over the years I've become very fond of curry; red, green, yellow, it doesn't matter, I like it all.

I'm smiling about the fact I'm hungry and grateful to be sitting here looking over a beautifully prepared meal and with great company. Life is good.

This is one of those places you’d drive miles just for the daily special.

René,

You are a foodie after my own heart, expecially when you said you would drive miles for good fare.  When we lived in Napa, on Sundays, we would be often be heading to San Francisco to our favorite dim sum place (one hour drive) Yank Sing.  It is often our first stop if we find ourselves there.  A

Hi A... Ron and Alexandra Seigel ... Guilty! ;O) I love eating out in San Francisco! I don't know the city well enough to have a favorite restaurant, but friends have never stirred me wrong and I've had some great meals...
