Are You Passionate?

The more I learn about successful people the more I see how important having a passion is.  I have seen friends and family start a business or get into something and not really do very well.  Some will sit back and expect the big payoff to just come rolling in just because they know someone successful in that industry.

What they don't understand is that most likely the successful one is very passionate about what they do and they can't ever seem to get enough.

I love the following quote as it hits home about passion:

Only passion, Great passion can elevate the soul to great things.

By Denis Diderot

I am very passionate not only about real estate but about business in general.  I love to learn about other peoples' business, in hopes that I will discover an idea that I can implement into my own business.

I know that a big part of my success has been because I am truly passionate.  If you are not truly passionate about your business then you need to discover what you are passionate about and go for it.  Never look back.  Just start today and become passionate about your business.

Hear, hear!  I'm new to the industry, from an agent perspective, but I have been involved in it in other ways.  And I LOVE IT!  I guess I'm a bit of a slow learner though, because it took me YEARS to finally decide to get my real estate license.  LOL!  I know it's going to be slow starting, but people always tell me that I sound so passionate when I am talking about real estate.

Tiffany welcome to the real estate industry.  It is only a slow start if you are not passionate and not willing to put in the work.

I've been around awhile and being passionate can go a long way.  I remember being brought onboard as a Dealer for a log home business.  The vice president that I interviewed with said in the middle of the interview "You're really passionate about this business, aren't you."  He could tell just by talking with me that I exuded a passion for his business.  Needless to say, I got the dealership.

Being passionate helps, but it takes hard work to make your buisness really pay off.

This was a nice blog to remind us of our innate need to work on things that we enjoy or we will not be happy.
