SoCal Turf Removal Program Rebate

Could Earn You Thousands of Dollars

I recently found out about this program downloaded the free enrollment package, submitted it and voila...................I'm now qualified to receive in excess of a $10,000  rebate for removing my existing turf/grass and replacing it with drought tolerant landscape that frankly I find much more attractive than a mundane plot of land with a glob of grass that you get to water, mow, weed and watch grow. Whoopee!!!

Here's how it works. Please take a few moments to peruse the information below and if you think you qualify by all means take some more time and fill out the application and submit it while the funds are still available. It's a win win for you your neighborhood and your environment.

The photos show the property before the turf removal.

In my follow up post I will share the after. I'm sure you will be quite surprised at the difference.

Not only did I benefit from a complete and long over due face lift having lived in this home for the past 35 years. I was also the beneficiary of a complete redo of all my antiquated irrigation and outdated and corroding low voltage lighting.

If you are a California resident you owe it to yourself, your neighbors and your envrionment to do your part in conserving our much needed water in anyway you can. But do be sure to work only with professionals and follow the quidelines in the link below to a tee.

Good luck and should you need any assistance or have any questions about how to get started or who to hire to help you with your rebate program please feel free to reach out to us anytime.

John DL Arendsen I look forward to seeing the "after" pictures.

As for me, I hate this whole drought thing and the way the state is dealing with it.

Bill Roberts Got that right. Add to that the fact that because SoCal residents are taking it so seriously and complying with conservation cities are now having to raise water rates because of lost revenues. LMAO!! Go Figure!

As I look around my own neighborhood, I'm seeing more and more lawn area converted to alternative landscaping.  It very well could be the trend for the future, whether this California drought ends this winter or not.

Myrl Jeffcoat I think you're absolutely spot on. Folks are finally starting to get it (including moi). Much of California is a desert and we've been coveting artificial landscapes on much of this land for too many decades.

Plus, there's so many beautiful drought tolerant options to choose from I don't know why it's taken so many droughts to catch on. Can't wait to send you the after photos. It's getting very close.
