Now that the snow is on the wane and the sun is high it's time to start thinking about getting out and enjoying Spring!

Concord NH has an extensive trail system for all to enjoy. They vary in degree of difficulty. There are also trails suitable for those who may have disabilities (#'s 5, 10, 11, 16 and 17).

There are some restrictions:No camping without permission, no motorized wheeled vehicles, no fires, no litter!

Concords trails are established and maintained by Volunteers. If you would like to "adopt" a trail call the Conservation Commission at the Planning Department 225-8515

What a great post! You live in one of the most beautiful states I have ever visited! I am used to snow skiing there in the winter, Mt Snow and Killington. And remember camping there as a kid! I hope your snow melts quickly and you get to enjoy your great outdoors!

Thanks Rich..some of those trails are also open in the winter for snowmobiling and snowshoeing

This is still a great State for camping even though they have cracked down on the areas

Oh we are kindred spirits. My favorite pastime in New Jersey is to sling a water bottle over my shoulder (with digital camera) and walk.

Joan, I just need it a few more degrees and there is nothing I'd rather be doing.....walking.  It clears my head to just walk--and walk!  (and imagine it's good for you!)
