Ashebourne of Orange Park, Florida is located off Doctors Lake Drive in Orange Park, Florida. The easy way to find this beautiful hidden community is take Hwy. 17 south to Orange Park from Jacksonville then make a right on Kingsley ave, then left onto Dr. Lake Dr. follow that down around four miles then make a left into Ashebourne.
This is a small community with only 48 homes. This community was well thought out and was built with the large mature oak trees left undisturbed. These large oak trees give plenty of shade to the community. Ashebourne backs up to Doctor Lake with some the homes on the lake. Most of the homes were build by Coppenbarger Homes, JA Long Inc., Montgomery Homes, and Infinity Builders. Most of the homes are all brick with a few of them being stucco.
Homes range in size with the smallest being around 2170 square feet and 3 bedroom 2 bathroom all the way up to around 4229 square feet with that being 4 bedroom 4.5 bathroom. Building started in 1987 and building on the last lot just finished in 2006. Most of the homes were build in the late 80's and early 90's. The larger homes are on the larger sized lots fronting Doctors Lake.
Ashebourne is one of the nicest communities in Orange Park with homeowners showing that they have much pride living there with well manicured lawn and trimmed bushes. Another plus is the low homeowner's association dues. There's a paved trail for biking, jogging, or even a nice casual afternoon walk right outside the community. The trail is over 4.5 miles long that runs along Doctors Lake Dr. and is lined with oak trees that give plenty of shade and fresh air. Ashebourne does not get many resales in the neighborhood. So, when a home is for sale it usually does not last long. If you are interested in Ashebourne you have to be quick before the home for sale is gone.
