First Night Newtown 2015 promises a night of great entertainment for all held again this year at Council Rock North. From magicians, kids crafts, karate demonstrations, face painting, live music, inflatable rides and great food. Plus, all capped off with a famous fireworks display, held down the road at Newtown Middle School at 10pm!
5. Fireworks in New Hope
Fireworks on the Delaware. Great viewing from both New Hope and Lambertville. 10 minute display starts at 9:30 pm on July 10th. Shop and have dinner before the Display
Mercer County, New Jersey:
1. Trenton Thunder
Trenton Thunder is guaranteed fun! It is a great family ball park in Trenton NJ. There are always fun events going on!
2. Howell Farm
This Saturday July 11th at 5 p.m. enjoy horse drawn hayrides, self-guided tours, and a marshmallow roast. Rides leave the barnyard area every 25 minutes from 5:10 to 8 p.m. A wheelchair accessible wagon is also available with a reservation.
3. Butterfly picnic
Learn about butterflies and try to catch them, then retreat to the backyard for story time, lemonade, and sugar cookies. For families with children 3 and up. $8 members. $12 non-members. Register online.
4. Blueberry Festival
This Saturday July 11th at 10:30 am Oasis Family Farm is having a Blueberry Festival. It is a you-pick event picking farm fresh blueberries by the pint. Pies, donuts and ice cream are available. Blueberry flavor of course! For the kids: wagon rides, sand art, crafts, pie eating competitions and more!
5. Pig-roast
Pig Roast at Unionville Vineyards this Friday July 10th at 6:30 p.m. Each person is $50. Tickets must be purchased.
