This morning I saw a very interesting article on Inman in the Daily News feed that posits a trend in home buying which is probably as true in Salt lake as other parts of the country. It has to do with buying homes in communities where it's easy to walk anywhere to get the things you need. Read the article and then check out a listing on our website to see how to determine if the home you are looking at is near shopping, food, and other things that would be nice to be able to walk to.
First, search our website for Salt Lake homes for sale. Select any of these listings to see example. Move curser to interactive button that says 'walk score' , click to activate. That property will be graded from 1 to 100 based on proximity of services. 100 being the most walkable. It also shows how far the home is located from restaurants, bars, groceries, parks, schools, shopping, and entertainment.
