Shark Week Missed This One - Kill Devil Hills NC

By
Real Estate Agent with Sun Realty NC

Since the release of Steven Spielberg’s Jaws in 1975, the mere mention of the “S” word has gained the ability to quickly spread hysteria throughout seaside populations. The annual, self-induced torment of watching Discovery Channel’s Shark Week strikes fear into the hearts of people safe in their recliners, hundreds of miles from the ocean. Recent shark attack in NC waters have had a similar effect; keeping hundreds of people out of the ocean and some even cancelling vacations on one of the most beautiful weeks in recent Outer Banks memory. A real shame! Sharks are one of the world’s oldest predators and, obviously, still a threat to this day. But these powerful animals are worthy of our respect and protection. So before you get swept up in the tide of shark-mania, take a moment to hear what they have to say.  Refer to Ten Things Sharks Want You To Know
