The Dilemma:
A Teen boy who is a HUGE Star Wars fan but doesn't have anywhere to DISPLAY his collection.  Yes, a teenager who actually is into collecting, but he also has 1 of everything to play with. (Mom used to work for Lucas Films ~ which doesn't hurt either).  Keep in mind this is a boy who will soon be a teenager, so it needs to be something that can grown with him, but mom wanted to get the TV and video games out of the bedroom.  Lastly, the room gets very warm due to the sun beating down on the windows all day, and not very good ventilation.

The Solution:
Floating wall shelves with ample enough space for all the collectables.
Completely new, reversible bedding.
TV is removed from room and replaced with a glass front storage unit for all the books, and top the room off with the COOLEST CEILING FAN EVER!

The cat is real, the dog is fake.

"Where'd the TV go?" you ask.  That's the teen LOFT ~ next time!

It looks great Connie!  Even with the Star Wars Guys! Great colors and organization.

Thank you!  It was actually very hard work.  There is a third set of shelves that you can't even see in these pictures (The room is HUGE).  Good thing all my years of retail management and merchandising could be used for SOMETHING.  But the ceiling fan is the the "cherry on top" - That's my favorite piece and he is now the envy of the neighborhood.

Thank you Kathy & Kym ~ The fan looks a bit large in the picture for the scale of the room but it's because it's in the foreground.  But we chose it because it does fit the theme, yet  will still be a unique feature as he grows up and out of Star Wars.

Connie!  I noticed that ceiling fan right away - real eye candy and very cool!  I used that cabinet in my Man Cave - very handsome!  Happy Staging - Julie

Great idea for collections, and yes, I love those ceiling fans, I think in my next house I want a ultra modern room, just so I can use one of those fans, LOL!

Thank you, Julia & Cindy ~  It's not only FABULOUS, it was a pretty penny as well.  But it was just SO cool.  He really is the envy of the neighborhood now, his friends come over when I'm there (working in other areas of the house) and I love to here 12 years old boys say, "DUDE! You're SO lucky!"

That is why we do what we do ;-)

Connie, the floating black shelves were ideal for this room and collection.  The fan selection is brilliant - looks like it came right out of the movie.  Super job!

Tracy & Leah ~Exactly!  The room will grow with him, no need to do it all over again in a couple years ;-D  Thank you!

Thanks, Terrylyn ~The cat is SO lovable, the dog was actually used as door stop.

Michele & Tanya ~We ended up using these same shelves in a few areas of the home.  They work beautifully, they LOOK beautiful and they were actually very inexpensive. (The fan, that's another story: cha-ching!)

She is, Chrissie ~ In fact this room translated out into the Teen Loft, then 2 more bedrooms, then the master suite....  It snowballed because the client was so thrilled with the results.
