 The Town of Parker is Southeast of Denver approximately 30 miles with a population just over 47,000 (2012).    The City of  Parker is a quaint town that is commonly called a bedroom community.    It has the small town feel, yet has lots to offer.   You will find many locally owned businesses and restaurants.    

Buyers looking for Homes for Sale in Parker will find sales in June 2015 saw a another increase in  sales from May.    Last year looking at detached family home sales only, there were 244 sold in June 2014, which shows sales are down a tad from one year ago.  Listing inventory increased over the month of May.   Let's look at the sale data from the month of June 2015 for sales of detached single family homes that were recorded for the Town of Parker -

With the summer buying season upon us, we are seeing a strong Seller's market due to very low inventory.  In the price ranges of $500,0000 to $1,000,000 are seeing a bit of a slowdown.    Although this price range is slowing the market before $400,000 is still very strong!    We still need listings!   The distressed market (short sales & bank owned property) is very minimal.  A total of no short sales were sold in June and one bank owned property. 

What buyers need to know in this current market, there is still a low inventory of homes to choose from, and often you will see multiple offers in the first couple of days.

 As of today you will find 333 active homes for sale in Parker (ranging from $235,000 to $18,370,000).    There are 305 currently under contract (ranging from $210,000 to $2,500,000).
