Greetings,
What a wonderful city we live in. We lost a wonderful police officier Chris Kilcullen. The Lane Blood Center has scheduled some events in his honor. Check out the information below.
Lane Blood Center is proud to sponsor this year’s Chris Kilcullen Memorial Ride, honoring the memory of fallen Eugene police officer Chris Kilcullen.
The Ride, held the last Sunday in July, benefits the Kilcullen Project, which works to empower people who need a jump start, help those who have fallen through the cracks, bring happiness and laughter to children in need, and protect the environment.
You can be a part of this meaningful event. Give blood at Lane Blood Center July 13-25, and a memorial card in your name will be presented to Chris Kilcullen’s family.
The Memorial Ride — the fifth and final such event — will happen Sunday, July 26. The 178-mile ride ends at PK Park, which is hosting Kilcullen Night — A Salute to Police and Military. The Eugene Emeralds will provide BBQ and food outside the park from 2:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. First pitch against Boise will be thrown at 5:01 p.m. All proceeds go to the Kilcullen Project.
The Lane Blood Center mobile will be parked at the stadium from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Donors can give a pint of life-saving blood in Chris Kilcullen’s honor.
You can click on the link below and it should shoot you to the site where you can register for these events. Thousands of people will be blessed if you participate. http://lanebloodcenter.org/
All the best!
