WHERE'S NEW ENGLAND?    I'm pretty certain that the greater Boston areas is performing quite well, economically. But apparently opportunity exists in the south, southwest and west, as Kent Temple's blog attests.   Rural New England struggles, as it has for decades.  Thanks, Kent, for posting these stats sourced from the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics.  I'm reading it again and again, weeping.
