Looks like Washington City has lots of fun events lined up all day for their 24th of July Celebration this year!

The Days of '47 Stephen Wade Auto Group Celebration begins with a flag raising ceremony at 7:00 a.m., followed by a hearty breakfast beginning at 7:30 a.m. Breakfast is served hot and healthy for a nominal per person cost. Price discounts are available for families to help those with extra mouths and tummies.

The parade starts at 9:00 a.m. The parade route begins at 300 North 300 East, then south to Telegraph Street, then west to 100 West, then north to 100 North.

The fun continues at the Veterans Memorial Park & Willard O Nisson parks throughout the day.  Old fashioned foot races, wagon rides and live entertainment start at 10:00 am. Some of the games offered are a ring toss, fish pond, football throw, stick pull, fast pitch, golf wiffle ball, basketball free throwing, air soft gun target shooting, and paint ball gun shooting, dunk tank, jumping jack house, ring the bell strong man hammer, face painting, panning for gold, cake walk, rides for the kids, historical horse drawn wagon tours and mountain man village.

Food of all kinds will be available, including snow cones, cotton candy, hard-scooped ice cream, specialty sodas, burgers and the ever famous and most popular "pronto pups" and funnel cakes. These events wrap up about 2:00 pm.

You've got a couple hours to run home and rest up, then it's time for the 24th of July Washington City Community Center Swim Party! The party begins at 6:00 pm. Washington Community Center is located at 200 N 300 East Washington UT.  Get front-row seats to Washington City's spectacular fireworks show right from the center's aquatic center pool.

Check out vendors, live entertainment,food trucks, games and more from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Washington City Community Center followed by the fireworks show, which starts at 10 p.m. Cost is $2 per person, $1 for kids 3 and under.
