Positive Attitudes are Accepted - Please refrain from Negativity

I agree with you.  Leave negativity out of the Rain and let's just be positive.  Being positive breeds positive results.

Hey VB! I've only been around the Rain for 9 months and I've seen my share of negativity already. As many people that are members I'm actually quite surprised it doesn't happen more often. I think for the most part we get a long pretty well given the hundreds of thousands of personalities, different people, and different backgrounds. A few bad apples can't spoil this whole bunch.

When I first joined AR, a couple of folks were quite nasty to me.... actually called me Stupid in a post arguing with one of my post, made fun of my profile picture, etc (very junior high school).  At first, I was hurt, then I realized what miserable folks they must be to act that way.  I ignored them and still do (they are still members).  

Thank goodness I ignored the negative and moved on, because Activerain has become part of my family!

As to getting along, 99% of the people in this community do get along... I guess that's why it's so newsworthy when someone signs up and doesn't get along. It's such an exception!

Hey Vegas Bob, I love that painting- it has a Van Gogh quality about it. If you ever felt difficulty fitting in the reason is clear, you're an artist at heart! (Van Gogh might have made more money from his work if he'd had access to the Rain) 

I noted that Bob Stewart commented that he'd featured that post so that the community could bring some issues to the light of day and I think it also spawned some very positive reactions, your post here among them.

Can I get an Amen!  I posted a video, I thought it was funny, and I could not believe some of the negative posts.. (most were positive) only a few haters :) nevertheless, it seems people do use this as a forum to vent... I just deleted the negative comments... :) In the words of the wise and wonderful Taylor Swift, Haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate... Shake it off. :)
