The most common question I've gotten this week at Flip Video Secrets was how to record yourself and make sure you are framed in the viewer. I do believe that one of the biggest shortcomings of the Flip Video is it's lack of a swivel screen (so you can see yourself).

No matter in this VERY ROUGH video, you get to see my solution.

P.S. My makeup artist already went home, so you get to see me warts and all, at the end of a long day! This is Cinéma Vérité at it's absolute finest!

Here are some pictures Sherri took of me making the video. Notice the position of the camera 30% angle above the center of my face. (you want the camera above you angling down). Also note the mirror positioned behind the flip video to show me the screen while recording.
