Did you have to pay them to have your listing there or they do it if the property is in a certain rice range?

Joan -- It really is a lovely place!  That house has some of the most gorgeous sand beach on Lake Superior I've ever seen.  And the home is elegant!

Irina -- We do pay for the Featured Properties placement, but a listing must meet their criteria to be considered for the Featured spot.  Price and uniqueness are factors.  I think they were intrigued with the idea of featuring a Great Lakes luxury property for the first time.

Jon, I've been discussing this property with them since January.  I felt this particular property was something unique and out of the ordinary, and made an effort to sell them on the idea of featuring it. 

Typically, you see some truly remarkable high-end properties in their Featured Property spot, including castles in Europe and private islands for sale!
