If it is true that a man's home, or a woman's home... is his or her castle... then it's probably time to Call The Movers !

This truly impressive home measures 3,209 sq ft... and on the inside it looks even larger.  The first floor features an incredible formal living and dining on either side of the entry foyer, and then opens into a fabulous family room with a back "wall of windows."

The family room is two stories high, and also features a two-story stone fireplace with raised stone hearth and wood mantle.

The family room is open from the catwalk on the second floor above... which connects the two bedrooms and full bath on one side, and the game room in the middle of the second floor.

An additional bedroom, and a separate media room are at the far end of the catwalk... which again overlooks the family room below.  What a great area for entertaining.

This floor also makes a great teen-suite... if that suits your family makeup.

The kitchen is definitely for the gourmet.  Granite counter-tops, forty-two inch raised panel cabinets, high ceilings, a pass-thru bar to the family room, a huge walk-in pantry, and a family-sized work-island complete the gourmet feel.

If you are ready to go from "Just Browsing" to "Let's Get Serious," this home is now ready for occupancy.  For your own personal tour, call the NewHome Hotline at (817) 929-3400.  You may also visit Karen Anne Stone's website at www.NewHomeHuntersDFW.com .

Karen Anne,

What an amazing price for so much house. Sounds like a wonderful deal. Hope you find the right buyer soon. Do you have any interior photos?

Hi Margaret:  Even in this local market, this is quite a bit of home for the money.  As gorgeous as it is on the outside, it is even better on the inside.  I will be posting some interior photos soon.  Thanks for commenting...

That looks great, Karen Anne, and I love the way you describe it.  I can't believe the price!!!  Best of luck with it.

Lindsey:  Yes, it really is gorgeous.  Lots of nice architectural touches... at a fair price, too.

Chris Ann:  It truly is marvelous inside.  Lots of custom features, and all of them without a custom price !

Miss Ladybug:  Sometimes I wonder if I get carried away in my descriptions, so that you very much for your kind comment about that.  And... this is not a "give-away" price.  This is typical of the Fort Worth/Dallas area.  Thanks so much...

Karen, in my market, that home would be selling for at least $800k higher.  But, brick does not do to well with the little shakes we get every once in a while. AJ

AJ:  Yes, I understand that brick does not do well when the ground underneath it moves up and down and around.  But... we get some windy weather her occasionally, and some hail and every few years a tornado or two, and the brick goes very well with that.  Ask the third little pig about that... he agrees.  But... $800,000.  That is quite a difference.  Thanks for sharing.

Karen Anne - I'm in the same area as AJ - that's why I was shocked at the price as well!  Here you're lucky to get a condo for that price.
