Duke Energy Life Jacket Loaner Board Program is encouraging summer boating and swimming safety for everyone. Its “Life Jacket Loaner Boards” are available at different boat launch and recreation areas in the area. These boards offer life jackets for use on the honor system and vary in size at each location. Any children 13 and under are required by law to wear a life jacket while on the water or on a boat, per the NC Wildlife Commission.

The Life Jacket Loaner Boards in the Lake Norman/Mtn. Island area are located at the following places:

Beatty’s Ford Access
Riverbend Access
Neck Road Access

Kay’s experience in new home sales gives her an intimate understanding of the sales and building process of new home construction. With Kay’s experience in needs based selling, she takes a consultative approach with her clients by listening to their needs, taking action and producing results. For our sellers, Kay’s time in new home sales encouraged her to be creative to market the homes, communities and locations she sold. Combined with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Clemson University, Kay is able to provide her clients with a unique marketing plan customized to their home, community and area. Kay focuses on using all of the tools available with new technology and innovative web sites to find the best marketing ideas to sell your home. Kay lives in Cornelius and is married with two children. She enjoys running, traveling, reading and spending time with her family and extended family.
