Hello, Hello, Elizabeth? What is That Sound?

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

Little disrupts a household more than when your four-legged critter is not up to par. You just want to do something to make them feel better, but since they can't talk to you about it or point to a place that is causing pain or discomfort, the best we can do is take them to the vet.

In my case, it involves stuffing a cat -- who suddenly becomes an octopus and acquires another four legs -- into a cat carrier where he does not want to go. Then listening to him scream bloody murder as I drive over the Causeway from Sacramento into Davis, hoping to God that no client will call me during that time period and have to listen to a cat caterwauling like he was being impaled with sharp daggers.

You can read more in my personal blog today about our cat Pica, at this link: Is It Possible to Reverse Feline Diabetes?

Hey, I think he's gonna be OK!!! The vet said that it is possible to reverse diabetes. He's getting a great diet, special nutrients, and maybe that's enough now, with any luck.  His glucose reading was a little high at the vet today, 285, but it could be high because he's so stressed in that environment. I'd sure to love to stop injecting him every day. We'll know more when the test on his pancreas comes back tomorrow.

Good morning Elizabeth.  I can just see you inside the car with your cat screaming like you were taking it to the death chamber...
