NAR reported recently that there are more home on the market now than there have been in the last decade. Realtors have to do everything possible to make their homes take center stage. 85% of home buyers start their search on the internet so staging the home and getting great photographs are critical. It is hard to get good shots with a regular point and shoot camera. I have been searching for a while and have finally found the perfect camera for home stagers and Realtors alike.
I just received my new Kodak EasyShare V705 wide angle camera the other day and I have to agree with Jeff Turner - This really is one fantastic camera.
Which one of these photos would pique your curiosity?

Bathroom Before Bathroom almost done Bathroom after with wide angle lens
This bathroom transformation was completed for under $100. Home staging does not need to be expensive to achieve dramatic results.

Living room before Living room after with wide angle lens
This is a no cost living room redo. We got rid of the clutter then used things the homeowner had in in other rooms to complete the look. This is a well lived in home. The homeowners have 4 young children and a dog so it was important to keep it all the seating. It needed to feel like home while they are in the process of selling.
These before shots were the ones originally posted on MLS. They really do not do the home justice. It is a large colonial with generous rooms. Hopefully with the home staging complete and new photos posted on MLS the home will sell quickly.
I think the Kodak V705 really is a great camera for home stagers and Real Estate professionals. When Jeff said Sell Your Camera On eBay & Buy This One! I was sceptical. I am so glad I took his advice! Thanks Jeff.
Maureen -- Those are great photos....you can certainly tell the difference in the ones taken with a wide-angle lens. I recently purchased that camera but haven't taken it out of the box yet. You have inspired me to do just that. I will use it to take some shots of my "innovative inventory ideas"...so be looking for them.
I love the job you did on that living room. It looks so much bigger and very sophisticated. You need to post these before and after photos in the Staging Successes Group.
