Active Rain isn't just about top quality education and very smart, witty and clever bloggers. It's also about networking to get things done. I've got multiple deals going right now that include people in different states with a host of needs that affect their home buying in my state.
Five years ago, I would have been lost as to how to help them. Today, I just pull 
up Active Rain, check to see where top notch colleagues are located, and I give them a call. I don't need to mother-hen them through the process. They're professionals and they know what they're doing. Problem solved.
It doesn't matter if I need a referral agent, a home inspector, a stagger, a lender, legal counsel or an appraiser. They're all here and ready for a call. I can't imagine why every real estate professional isn't linked to this site. It's a wealth of information and it's filled with top quality contacts who know how to get things done. It's one more piece of the puzzle we call real estate.
