I just talked my son out of joining, he's only 13, probably too early but I was impressed that he found some of my subscription bloggers very interesting. Welcome Craig.

Craig,  It's great to have goals but make sure your goal is to provide a great service or product and not just about making a certain amount of money.  If you satisfy a lot of people, the money will follow.

Also, you are judged  by what you write.  I used to hate English class but I have found out that learning to write is the most valuable thing you can learn in school.  Take advantage of it while you can.  Everyone here has been very polite  because you are a young kid. In real life you will be judged much more harshly.

Craig - WOW 15 years old, 3 word post, AND a gold star!!  Welcome to Active Rain - with your goals and mindset, this is certainly the place to soak up all the knowledge and info you can.

I know many states have a rule that says one must be 18 years of age or older to be licensed to sell real estate.  Are you licensed?  I re-read your post and couldn't really tell.  If so, your state must have one of the youngest age requirements.

Your drive and ambition at such a young age are to be admired.  Keep to your path and stay focused, and you'll be able to set the world afire!!!  It will interesting to watch you grow and reach for your goals.

Welcome again!

Craig, I certainly didn't plan on waking up this morning to be inspired by a 15 year old.  Your profile is great and you have the attitude to be a superstar in Real Estate and in life.  I only wish I was half as ambitious as you are at 15 when I was your age.  Great job!!!!

Good Morning Craig, Welcome Aboard! You've already done very well here, and received a lot of good advice! Trust me when I tell you that you can learn a lot about from all of the people that have stopped by to congratulate you, with a group like this that has you're back you will do well. My advice to you, pay attention to what they say, and how they say it. I've learned as much in the few short months of being a Active Rain member as I have in the 4 yrs of working for my company. You are off to an excellent start!

Welcome to Active Rain, Craig. I hope that you will take the time to learn and grow from the amazing amount of information here!

I would make the comment that while I admire your gumption, in getting your eyes focused on a goal of real estate success, you might want to consider using spell check and the proper rules of English grammar in your profile and in your writing.  Your future clients are reading what you write here-and if you want someone to entrust you with what is often their greatest financial investment, you need to set the correct first impression.  I'm with Tim Maitski above-take full advantage of the writing and English classes offered to you now-they are two subjects you can carry with you throughout your life!

Craig, Craig, Craig,

I am impressed by your enthusiasm, however, at the ripe ole age of 15 you must know the importance of a first impression.  I saw your picture next to the, now imfamous, three-word blog post and felt I must read your profile to see what this is really all about.

Clean it up!!!  At fifteen years of age you have had enough English classes to present yourself in a better light.

Yippee, you want to be a rich Realtor!  If real estate is your goal then, please, for the love of Pete, help us improve the reputation of Realtors everywhere by being educated enough to teach others!  That is the job of a Realtor.  We teach our clients about real estate.  We have to be educated enough to read and interpret contracts and legal-eeze.  We can't come out of the gates proclaiming to be a "peoples person," or discussing starting up a "real estae" company.

Enthusiasm A+

Motivation B-

Craig,....yes, I am back. I will agree with Virginia. Take it as positive feedback. But I would do your profile over again. I would take out the age, wanting to be the richest realtor, and have a few people proof read it and give you feedback. Never be ashamed to ask for advice or help. Yes, it's great to be aggressive and to learn from who surrounds you in your office... but keep those ears, eyes, and your mind open to the many people that are here on Active Rain.  Good luck ....

Virgina,

Thank you for giving Craig constructive criticism.  I think the things you said are very important and I appreciate the way you said it.    I read any a comment yesterday that ticked me off, it wasn't what was said, but the way it was said.  I think too often we forget to applaud young people for the positive decisions they make.

Welcome Craig.....

At 15 you have a LITTLE training to go through...this is a GOOD place to start..... I am sure that by the ripe "OLD AGE" of 18 you will be MORE than ready to tackle the real estate world.

I applaud your boldness......

Keep learning, son!!
