Many and or most people who buy a lake home do so for fishing or boating.
Some for both.
A few just like the water.
But, there is more.
Wildlife.
Minnesota's State Bird...No, not the mosquito, but the Common Loon.
Normally very timid, but when they have a baby around if you stay real still they will tolerate you.
Here if you look real close, the baby was just given a minnow that the parent dived under water to get.
Below a family of otters showed themselves and were not happy with my intrusion.
There are ducks, gulls herons and all kids of other wildlife that come to the water.
Yes, there is lot more to a lake home than just fish and boats.
