This is the view of the Par 3, Sixth Hole Tee Box at Clear Creek Golf Club last Sunday after a torrential downpour!

As you can see ...last Sunday was not a good day to play golf in Bristol TN~VA!

Today was much better ...played 18 in perfect conditions ...if only my score had been!

Most golf courses here are built in the flood plane. It's the best use of the land, and usually a few hours after the flood you can go back to playing.

Rob - The water certainly would have made it a little difficult to tee off on that hole. That looks like quite a flood, and am wondering if it shut down the entire course.

I have seen flooding like this on a golf course in Scottsdale before.
