My Wednesday Workout

I felt real good today.  After being in a bit of a funk the last two days, I went to the YMCA and had a great workout.

4 miles on the treadmill.  30:23.  I never race, but I do push the pace from time to time.  My first mile is usually about 9 minutes, so I have to get on it to come in around 30 minutes.

After my run, I did my dumbell stand up exercise.  I better make up a name for it.  My standups.

You lay on your back with a dumbell in one arm, fully extended up.  Keeping the dumbell straight up, stand up.

It sounds easy, but its not.  I do 2 sets of 10 (five with each arm).  I think its a great core workout.

I am also feeling a little better with work.  A young mother that I met at the Y is looking for a first home.

She sounds excited and ready to go.  I hope I can help her.

I also think that my listing and I have a better understanding of each other.  That always helps.

Ken

p.s. I weighed 201.7 today.

Keep it up!  Looks like the business is just an added benefit when you are working on your health.  My workouts lead to deep epiphanies as well.

Hi Ken,

I always feel so much better after I work out.  I can see that it affects everything I do.  Have a great day.  Michael A. Caruso

There is nothing like a workout to get you thinking straight in the morning.

Hi Melody, Michael, and Kevin.  Thanks for reading.

I try and work out at least 3 times/week.  It feels good, and is as productive as anything else I do real estate wise!

Congrats on all the hard work!  I know that when I neglect my workouts I end up dragging at work, too.

Ken, isn't it weird when we feel lethargic and dragging, it makes us NOT want to work out, but as soon as we do BOOM, we feel better, and have MORE energy? That is what I need to tell myself. The last two nights I have felt so much better by working out.

Hi Tony and Patrick.  Thanks for commenting and reading.

I have not worked out in a few days, and have been dragging.

Tomorrow!
