Luxury Henderson Home Community in the McCullough Range- Ascaya

It's been just a few weeks since Ascaya, the long-delayed luxury-home community in "Henderson’s picturesque McCullough Range", broke ground on its first home. It's been a long time coming. The groundbreaking construction is the "first home of the 313-lot development" off Green Valley Parkway and Horizon Ridge. The first custom home under construction will be an "11,000-square-foot mansion, (it) will have six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a basement and an outdoor courtyard, according to a news release, which did not say when construction was slated to finish."

According to the development's website, The Ascaya Clubhouse with pool and spa will break ground later this fall, and will include family friendly areas, with play areas and hobby rooms, creative studio, meeting spaces, state of the art fitness center and tennis courts. The estimated custom home price in this community is likely to be $3-5Million.

With the community located almost 1,000 feet above the valley floor this is a community that springs right out of the mountains. Ascaya community is a community created by a developer of the same name. "Ascaya, Inc. is privately held by the Hong Kong-based family of Dr. Henry Cheng, a diversified infrastructure, construction and property developer, with extensive development projects in Asia, Europe and the Americas. The group acquired the Henderson, Nevada property more than two decades ago. Since Ascaya was first conceived, the group has drawn on the most talented planning, civil engineering, construction, and architectural professionals in the United States. The group pursued a 5-year development plan, investing over $200 million in civil engineering, earthwork, architectural and infrastructure works."
