We really do have the best of both- if you like the big chain stores like Best Buy, Staples , Lowes Home Improvement, Bed Bath and Beyond and Belk to name a few or if you like to go antiquing and shop at the quaint smaller shops we have those in abundance too! Highway 15/501 between Aberdeen and Southern Pines is the best place to head for those big stores and great restaurants like Outback Steak House, Chilli's, Pizza Hut, Starbuck's and Henry's Gelato are also located along this highway!
If you love antiquing, then you need to visit Cameron, just 15 minutes from Southern Pines. There are over 9 antique stores with hundreds of vendors. The first Saturday in May and October is a great time to go with the influx of 130 antique sellers for a one day event that draws over 2,000 to enjoy and purchase antiques.
