HAPPY ACRES FARM OF SHERMAN, CT - STAR ATTRACTION OF THE NEW WESTERN CT FARM CRAWL!
We’ve all heard of bar crawls, a well-established pastime. Well, here in New England we have our own traditions and we are still creating new ones. This week-end we will see the very First Annual Western Connecticut Farm Crawl!
Sherman’s very own majestic Happy Acres Farm will be a major attraction of this new family-friendly fun event. Happy Acres Farm of Sherman will be one of eight farms participating. It should be entertaining and educational for local residents to get to know our wealth of resources better and a fantastic opportunity for all our visitors to explore our beautiful areas. How excitng for city children to see a working farm with fields of animals, gardens and orchards!
What is a FARM CRAWL? Basically, it’s a public open house at all of these participating Western Connecticut farms, where the farmers will showcase their local agriculture, including a variety of seasonal produce grown right on the farms.

Guided tours will be offered at some of the farms, on the HOUR, every hour.
Or, you can enjoy a self-guided tour anytime; Or simply relax at one or two of the farms and enjoy the tranquil views.
The First Annual Western Connecticut Farm Crawl is sponsored by the New Milford Farmers Market. It is part of their 25th-year anniversary celebration of providing locally-grown produce and other goods to the community.
