Blaming Won’t Change or Correct the Condition

“All blame is a waste of time. No matter how much fault you

find with another, and regardless of how much you

blame him, it will not change you”

Dr. Wayne Dyer, Author, Professional Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

Blaming won’t change or correct the condition

When something goes wrong . . . . You have to get down to the reason that the things when off track. Once you find it your job is to get things back on track.

Blaming won’t change or correct the condition. Accountability will lead you to the reason for the conditions. Based on your finding . . . . you will have to determine the corrective measures that will be required to correct the conditions . . . . and keep it from reoccurring in the future.

When you get involved in the blame game it takes you down the wrong path . . . . drains your energy . . . . and wastes a lot of time. Blaming can become very distracting . . . . and costly. It will also take your eyes off the ball . . . . and off the solutions.

Blaming won’t change or correct the condition . . . . Proactively addressing the conditions will.

Blaming is the first step in a cycle of negative thoughts..they can develop into a huge drain on energy and success.

I agree we should focus on correcting the condition and moving forward. Earlier this year I made a decision that I did not want to spend time being upset at people.  I just want to fix things and move on.

My Mom taught me that when you point a finger at someone, three fingers will always point back at you.  I bite my tongue a lot in this business.

When someone drops the ball and screws up in a transaction, all I want them to do is to own it.  Don't blame someone else.  Just own what you did so we can fix it for Pete's sake!

Lou, I had to eliminate someone from my life because I just couldn't take it anymore.  The person accepted no responsibility for anything.  Enough is enough.

A voice in defense of blamers.

Ahhh, let's see....

They are trolling for the like minded with whom they can commiserate.
Hmmm, tearing down others makes them feel taller.

La ti dah.... what they dislike in others is what they dispise in themselves.

It is a hollow preamble to 'raise the bar.'

Such people are toxic and corrosive to the lives of others. I prefer a toxin free environment which excludes the one who is compelled to judge others with out the slightest insight of the weight others may be required to carry.

And they are completely unaware of the weight they cause others to carry as a result of their unceasing blaming.

I get it all the time when I ask people, usually other agents, why they do some of the things they do, and they go into long stories blaming everybody but themselves. I wanna say just own it, learn from it and move on. But that's far too simple.

Truer words I have not heard, Lou.  The person who accepts responsibility will more likely be a person who finds solutions, not problems.
